One platform, every department
Odoo's strength is that the modules share one database. A sales order reserves stock, triggers a purchase, posts to the ledger and updates the dashboard without anyone re-keying it. These are the apps we deploy most.
Accounting & Finance
Chart of accounts, tax and VAT/GST filing, bank reconciliation, multi-currency and consolidated financial reports.
Inventory
Multi-warehouse, stock valuation, barcode scanning, lot and serial tracking, and automated reordering rules.
Sales

Purchase
RFQs, purchase orders, vendor price lists, and 3-way matching that keeps procurement costs under control.
CRM
Lead capture and scoring, pipeline stages, email and calendar integration, and forecast dashboards.
Human Resources

Project & Timesheets
OptionalTask planning, timesheets, billable rates and project costing — margin visibility on every job you deliver.
Field Service
OptionalScheduling, dispatch, mobile worksheets and on-site invoicing for teams working away from the office.
Maintenance & Quality
OptionalPreventive maintenance calendars, equipment records, and quality checks embedded in production flows.
Which modules do you actually need?
More modules is not better. Every app you switch on is one more thing to configure, test, train and maintain.
The operational core
Most businesses go live on Sales, Inventory, Purchase and Accounting. That alone removes the majority of double entry and gives you real-time stock and margin.
The growth layer
CRM, HR and Projects follow once the core is stable — typically a second phase four to eight weeks after go-live.
The specialist apps
Manufacturing, POS, eCommerce and Field Service are deep modules. They deserve their own discovery rather than being bundled into an initial rollout.
